Plays

Throughout high school and after we moved back to Cobourg, I performed in a number of plays. Even though I’d given up a professional theatre career, I was still drawn to amateur performing. In 1964, I played Ado Annie in Oklahoma. In 1978, with the newly formed Northumberland Players, I was Mona Kent in Dames at Sea and a Kit Kat girl in Cabaret. Later, with VOS Theatre, I was Vivian in Nurse Jane Goes to Hawaii and Mopsy in Christmas Toy Magic. My last role was with Northumberland Players, an older woman in The Vagina Monologues. My love of theatre and this experience gave me the confidence to write my own plays.
